In Donetsk region, operators from the Raid Regiment struck a storage facility used for housing russian UAVs. The impact triggered a large-scale fire, with subsequent detonations indicating the destruction of drone stockpiles on site. Such strikes are particularly significant as they directly reduce russia’s ability to conduct reconnaissance and precision strikes using unmanned systems.

Ironically this continuing strike campaign on near-endpoint russian uav logistics illustrates the ways in which the US/Western air defense strategy is slightly less stupid than it appears. The plan in a US style war was always to begin by targetting the logistics and crucial static production plants of the enemy with overwhelming power. Whether the US is capable of that is independent of the intent of the strategy, which is to focus on eliminating concentrations of material and personnel and thus dismantle the enemies war machine in a thousand places at once in an induced shock.

What Ukraine is doing here echoes that principle in a basic sense that the best use of a drone is to eliminate the enemies capacity to get logistics/drones to the front. This is how airpower projects power in a sustained sense.
