A BIG Step Towards a Federal & Enlarged Europe?

TLDR : "EP calls for the second time in three years for institutional reforms in view of the enlargement. It also reminds the European Council of its pending proposal approved in 2023 of Treaty amendments. Brussels, 23 October 2025"

My take is that the EP wants an EU wide reform for a more democratic EU, abolish the veto and instead introduce 55% majority vote. They want the right to initiate legislation, as atm they can only react to EC initiatives. They want EU to have more budget at 2% GNP, and independent funding via tax incomes of digital rights by third parties ( Google, FB etc). and much more. But it's up to other councils and EC to pick this up and continue the work.
